Well there is only one way to understand it. That is to look at the sentences before it. We can only understand which expression is correct looking at the context of paragraph. If we don´t have such an option like now we should look if there is an exclamation mark at the end of the sentence. If there is not we should not use "benim" .

We also use "benim","senin" etc... when we want to lay stress on them. Ex:

This is your problem not mine.

Bu senin problemin benim değil.

can someone translate this short text in english please? Wink

‎3 kuruşluk insana 5 kuruşluk değer verirsen kendini 10 kuruşluk hissedermiş şimdi aynaya bak ve o 3 kuruşluk suratına tükür

If you give 5 cents value to a man whose value 3 cents, he feels like as his value is 10 cents. Now look at the mirror and spit on your face whose value is 3 cents.

Annemin evinde misafirler (ziyaretçiler) var.

If they are your visitors you can say:

Annemin evinde benim misafirlerim (ziyaretçilerim) var.

My try...Smile

You dont have to use "benim" here because "m" sound at the end of the word "misafirlerim" gives that meaning. You can ask when you use "benim" Answer is:

1)Bu araba kimin?

Benim.

2) Bu araba kimin arabası?

Benim arabam.

Below one is better i guess

"Annesinin hastalığının beşinci gününün gecesi, Hasan rüyasında kendisini evinin bahçesinde otururken görür. Çok sevdiği tavşanları da her zamanki gibi bahçesindeki kafestedir, ancak birdenbire kafesin kapısı açılır ve tavşanlar koşarak Hasan´ın yanına gelir, hep bir ağızdan "Hasan bizi sat da annen kurtulsun" derler... "

I agree. Past tense is a poor choice. But this is not my story. I think i will choose texts from the works of great authors from now on.

My third try o zaman

Annesinin hastalığının beşinci gününün gecesi, Hasan rüyasında kendisini evin bahçesinde otururken görüyordu. Tavşanlar da kafesteydi. Birden kafesin kapı açıldı ve tavşanlar koşarak Hasan’ın yanına gelip, Hasan bizi sat, annen kurtulsun, dediler.

Bravo tomac. And thanks to others. I will be back tomorrow with another quiz.
