I could not understand fully.

Your son is not a person making promises, but a man who is doing what he says and saying what he will be able to do.

My try-but wait for corrections.

hahahahaha-no you´re not going mad! My first attempt read ´maybe you lost my number´ until I realised that was c**p so I changed it. I got confused between kaydet and kaybet.

Quoting deli

maybe its necessary to save my number?????

I think ´kaydet´ is the imperative form of the verb-they´re telling them to write it down/save it etc.

Either way the message is similar.
