Thank you very much!

It is actually supposed to say this though, could you perhaps translate it into the proper Turkish? Thanks!

I had considered myself a Christian at the end of high school, but after going to college and being influenced by false teachers, I had left Christ behind; which had lead me in the wrong direction in pretty much every aspect of my life.

Lise´nin sonunda kendimi bir Hristiyan olarak adlediyordum. Ama üniversiteye gittikten ve yanlış öğretmenlerden etkilendikten sonra beni hayatımın her yönünde hep yanlış yola sürüklemiş Mesih´i (İsa) ardımda bıraktım.

This translation is opposite of first translation. Are you sure you mean it?

This is to certify that XX born on the XX.XX.XXXX in Turkey is enrolled in the 1st year of study at the faculty of medicine in the accademic year xx.xx.xxxx - xx.xx.xxxx

This certificate has been issued for the army, in Turkey.

Tasdik olunur ki XX.XX.XXXX tarihinde Türkiye´de doğan XX ,xx.xx.xxxx - xx.xx.xxxx akedemik yılında Tıp Fakültesi´nin ilk eğitim yılına kayıtlıdır.

Bu sertifika Türkiye´deki ordu için çıkarılmıştır.

Bu sertifika  Türkiye´deki orduya gönderilmek için çıkarılmıştır. (This certificate has been issued to be sent to army in Turkey) (better)

I think you want to  postpone military duty. You can also say. "Bu sertifika TSK´ya askerlik tecili başvurusu için çıkarılmıştır" It means "this certificate has been issued for applying to TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) to postpone millitary duty."

Please help me with the following translations from English to Turkish :

Sometimes questions are more important than answers. You see things; and you say, ´Why?´ But I dream things that never were; and I say, ´Why not?

Thanks for help in advance.

Jessica

Bazen sorular cevaplardan daha önemlidir. Bazı şeyleri görürsün ve neden dersin. Ama ben hiç olmamış şeyleri düşlerim ve neden olmasın derim.

Dilini yerler kız. (They may eat your tongue, girl) This is an idiom means your tongue is so sweet (you speak so sweet) people may want to eat it (people may be amazed of it)

Hey everyone,

I heard someone use this proverb today, but I don´t really understand what it means.  Would be awesome if someone could give me the English equivalent or at least explain what it is.=)  The proverb is,

El terazi göz kantar.

Thanks in advance!
