You are welcome. Perhaps you would give me a sample sentence by using the phrase "But I will not dwell on"? Thus we would have settled the occount with each other. Don't you think?

But I will not dwell on....

Quoting narmerdrink:

Hi Fatima, I would like to come to Istanbul for the new year's eve for 4 days but I don't know if there are any problems for you during those days.
Let me know if it's possible.... I always think of you and it would be wonderful if we can meet soon during that period and be together.

"Selam Fatma! Yeni yıl akşamı, 4 günlüğüne İstanbul'a gelmek istiyorum ancak o zaman süresince senin için herhangi bir sorun olup olmayacağını bilmiyorum. Eğer olasıysa, lütfen bildir bana... Her daim seni düşÃ¼nüyorum; o zaman süresince görüşebilmemiz ve birlikte olmamız harika olurdu."

Ha ha haaay!... Chris, you are so funny! You made me laugh too much. Thank you. I was glad that you have noticed my surname! Ha ha ha! Obviously you don't look at things, but see them; and you should have a good sense of humour!

Yes, you are right. But please be sure that you gave me what I wanted. I needed to see use of the phrase in a sentence and you supplied it.

Thank you very much again.

How about this one: "You might consider yourself an expert but bear in mind that there is always going to be somebody better than you" Bu olur mu?

Oovvv! Thank you very much. Now that you gave an example, it should be suitable and good. I am not master of English. I am just try to learn them. Thank you again.

Quote:

2. O, 'Ben çok iyi İngilizce konuşurum,' dedi.
O, onun çok iyi İngilizce konuştuğunu söyledi.

This one isn't bad, reflexive pronoun however would be much better there. Or 'onun' could be omitted from there.

'O, çok iyi İngilizce konuştuğunu söyledi.'
'O, kendisinin çok iyi İngilizce konuştuğunu söyledi.'

Quote:

5. Arkadaşım, 'Onlar nerede?' diye sordu.
O, onların nerede olacağını sordu.

'Arkadaşım, onların nerede olduklarını sordu.'

Quote:

6. Kızım bana, 'Şimdi mektup yazıyorum' dedi.
O, bana onun şimdi mektup yazdığını söyledi.

This is highly good. You could also cut 'onun' out from there.

'O, bana şimdi mektup yazdığını söyledi'

Quote:

8. Hasan, 'Yağmur yağıyor mu?' diye sordu.
O, yağmur yağıp yağmadığını sordu.

'O, yağmurun yağıp yağmadığını sordu.'

The rest are highly good! Well done! Really good job!

"Son kez beni aradığında arkadaşlarla alkol içiyordum, şimdiyse çoktan evdeyim, ne var ki çok başım dönüyor. Sana çok ihtiyacım var. Uyuyuncaya dek omzuna ve göğsüne yaslanmak, kalp atışlarını dinlemek istiyorum. Burada olmanı istiyorum tatlım!"
