I had hated Turkish grammar because of unlikeble book of Muharrem Ergin untill I met with Feyza Hepçilingirler´s "Türkçe Dilbilgisi Öğretme Kitabı" I still don´t like Turkish grammar very much but at least I don´t hate it anymore.

People are offended by many things. You can´t ban them all. Let everyone talk what they want.Community and history will judge them. Most importantly they will judge themselves. As a Muslim I am not offended by those words. Because God still exists whatever he says and religioun is not a lie. No need to create victims.

There is freedom of opinion here. But there is a question : Whose opinion?

Let me correct one thing my friend.

You should say

Ben 12 ay Türkiye´de yaşadım.

You could use -dır (for) if the predicate was present or past continous. (yaşıyorum/yaşıyordum)

There are so many stupid natives who dont know anything about Turkish grammar but act like they know it. So please dont accept easily what you heart from someone and ask it to a person who has knowleedge about Turkish grammar.

bir şey söylemeden lets analise this

bir is adjective

şey is noun

bir şey is adjective phrase

söyle(mek) to say

meden is without

söylemeden is adverb

This adverb also has an indefinite object. It is "bir şey".

So "bir şey söylemeden" means "without saying anything".
