Quoting tunci

Clever Gökuyum !  Btw where is our translators ???  Are they all on strike ?

Translators are on a very long holiday You never know when they´re back

Here´s the translation:

1. Last Sunday we were at Keçiören Bağlum Bağlar animal feeding event to feed our friends of this free world whose souls and bodies are shackled, our volunteer guards in exchange of a dry bread.

.....Şırıngalarıyla, zehirli etleriyle ölüm kusan, yaşam haklarının sadece kendilerine verildiğini sananlara karşı canlarını kurtarabilenlerdi onlar...

They were the survivors against those who spit death with their syringes and poisoned meats, who think that only they are given the right to live.

.....Bir ıslıkla bir bir dağlardan, bayırlardan etrafımıza toplanan, gözlerinizin içine bakan canlar bugün besleneceklerdi..Ya yarın?Büyük bir telaş vardı hepsinde. Sabırsızlıkla bakıyordu hepsi gözlerinize.Kuru ekmekleri kapışan, ciğerli makarnaları çabucak tüketen, kemikleri havada kapan, kuru mamalara saldıran sevimli can dostlarıydı köpeklerimiz...

Those friends would be feeded today, who gather around us with one whistle one by one from hills and slopes, and look into our eyes. What about tomorrow? They all had rush. They were looking into our eyes impatiently. They were our dear friendly dogs who snatch dry breads, who eat pastas with liver fastly, who catch bones on air, who attack dog food.

....Yer yer manzara korkunçtu. Kimileri haftalarca parçalanmış bedenlerinin kaldırılmasını bekliyordu.Etrafında açlıktan ölü bedenleri yiyen mini mini yavrular...Belki de anneleriydi o, kim bilir..Kimileri çalı altına gizlediği yeni doğan yavrularını, yağabilecek yağmurdan, esen kuru dağ rüzgarından nasıl koruyacağını bilmeden, kayıtsızca bakıyordu gözlerinize...

In some places, the scene was terrible. Some were waiting their broken bodies to be removed. There were small puppies around eating dead bodies because of starvation. Maybe it was their mother, who knows? Some were looking at our eyes absently in bushes, without knowing how to protect their new-born puppies from rain, and dry mountain wind.

....Okuduklarımdan, dinlediklerimden daha etkileyiciydi bu yaşadıklarım.Çok şey öğrendim bugün.Yıllarca dövüştürülmüş, yaşlanınca atılmış saldırır diye korktuğumuz pitbull yumuşaklığını öğrendim. Her gün facebook sayfalarında sevimli resimlerini paylaştığımız ´Seviyoruz.´ demenin yetersizliğini ve anlamsızlığını öğrendim.Evlerinde süs köpeklerinin kan sayımına kadar yaptıran; fakat dışarıdakilere duyarsız kalan kesimin varlığını öğrendim.Ve barınaklar dururken petshoplardan hayvan satın almanın hayvanseverlik olmadığını fark ettim...

These experiences were more effective than what I read and heard. I learned so many things today. I learned softness of pitbull that we´re afraid if they attack, who were caused to fiht, then left when become old. I learned that it wasn´t enough and was meningless to share cute pictures on facebook by saying "We love" everyday. I learned that there are people who do even blood count of their house dogs but who are insensible to street dogs. And I realized that buying animals from petshops is not being animal lover when there are shelters already.

I learned that love is effort,

I learned that love is action,

And I learned the existance of dear animal lovers Oktay Tulu and Murat Demir who are doing great efforts, and my big-hearted young friend Burak. And I learned that it´s needed to support them. I thank them very much to those volunteer animal lovers for their efforts.

2. .........Güldallı basmalar gibi renk renk, kır çiçekleri kadar çeşit çeşit öykülerimiz...Yer yer bir mücevher titizliğiyle koruyup yer yer derinlere iteleyip günışığından sakınıp gecenin koynunda beslenen öykülerimiz...Her birinin kahramanıyız bir parça...Okuduğumuz romanlarda izlediğimiz oyunlarda biz varız..İrkiliriz ancak gözümüzden bir damla yaş tenimize değdiğinde..Yoruluruz ancak küçük dünyamızı seyre daldığımızda...Ve kar taneleri birbirine benzemez .Ve kar taneleri yağmakla tükenmez...........

2. Our stories are colourful like rose branched garments, and wild flowers. Our stories that sometimes are saved meticulously like jewelry, sometimes are pushed deep to prevent from sunlight and fed in the middle of night. We are partly heroes of each of them. We are there, in our novels that we read, in plays that we watch. We startle but only when a tear from our eye touch our body... We get tired but only when we dream our little world... And snow flakes are not look alike. And snow flakes do not run out by snowing.

3. Every born creature has traces in this universe even it´s the size of a piece of dust. A good quality of yours would certainly leave a trace on another. That trace runs from one to another. It hides or appears to sunlight at the least expected time, it doesn´t disappear. If we think, a boundry of a human who came to this world for nothing is formed from interactions and starts the journey of becoming a person. When we hold hands of a desperate or when we pet an animal´s head, the message we give to the one in front of us is a contribution, even it´s a little bit, for them to become a person. Examples could be more. In short, it leaves so much of you behind.

There are some Tv channels for children but they mostly have cartoons. Some channels show programs for kids but I don´t know when. I can give you some links to watch them. Some channels may not be broadcasting at night Or you can search videos of these programs, such as on YouTube. For example, Susam Sokağı (Sesame Street), or see below:

Planet Çocuk:

TRT Çocuk: (The first link shows which programs they have. You can see age groups and search them on the internet for videos)

Like I wrote on my post... I´m not SAYING all turkish guys are like that, but the ones I´ve encountered via.(internet) were like that..... the ones I know in person are way different... shy, respectful, friendly, etc...

My guess is that they act different in real life than they do on-line.

I think becaue the ones you saw in person were the successful ones and had been to differnet places than other lazy perverts. These guys probably don´t have any job or they don´t do anything else after work so they just go online, go to a web site where they can communicate with foreign girls and try to get them. The internet is probably full of them but I don´t think the chance of getting a girl is more than one in a million.

Yes it is "çok yaşa" (Live long). But nowadays some people says: "İyi yaşa!" (Live well). Maybe they don´t want other person to live long or they just want to change the fashion,  I don´t know

Quoting Sir_Robalot

With a question mark after it:

Yazların ne güzel?/Ne güzel yazıyormusun?

If it´s a statement, with a dot to complete the sentence (then the English sentence should be "How nice your writings are"/"What you write is so nice/beautiful"):

Senin yazların ne kadar güzel!

/Rob - Learning Turkish

That question mark wasn´t after original Turkish sentence. It was after brackets which was an extra question.

How nice are your writings: "Senin yazların ne kadar güzel!"

This is a great translation
