Quoting dilliduduk

I would say they are used equally.

It´s always good to know what Turkish people use rather than what it says in grammar books and dictionaries.

Thanks.

That´s okay-you´re entitled to your opinion though one man´s meat is another man´s poison as they say. I recently went with my friend to see ´Up in the air´ starring George Clooney which had,in general, rave reviews. We hated it!

Doğum günün kutlu olsun also means Happy Birthday.

(I would like to know which is more commonly used by Turks in Turkey-anyone?)

For ptaszek :

Thank you very much, for your kind help,

I have studied "The World Movie History", as a hobby.

And finally I have chosen "The 522 Best Movies of All Time".

Based on what? Is this in your opinion?

Quoting turkishcobra

1) When you use "birkaç" before a noun, you can´t use plural suffix.

Few houses: birkaç ev

Fe students: birkaç öğrenci

etc..

2) We commonly use "kelime" instead of "söz" for "word" noun.

3) If something has got a mistake, we say "hatalı".

You are writing with mistakes in Turkish.

Türkçeyi hatalı yazıyorsun.

Yazmak is a dative verb; that´s why I used "-i" suffix. (y is connection character.

thx. By the way, I didn´t know language names weren´t private, sorry.)

Thanks for the explanations.
