I don´t know how to translate the concept of online, so I´m just going to try what I think I know. Hopefully someone else will correct it/fill in the blanks.

Dün gece için kusura bakma, ......

"Online" gideceksen olursan, bana mesaj gönder, geleceðim.

online is also used in turkish, although there is also a turkish word "çevrimiçi"

upside-down is alt üst etmek, ters yüz etmek is inside out...

yes but I guess there is no phrase in English to make the world inside out. you cannot translate everything literally!

We would say ´turning the world upside down in English´ - is that a possible translation?

yes, you are right!

Awwww, so that´s what it is, I thought arkadaþ and olmak are considered separate. Cool, thanks. {#lang_emotions_flowers}

yes but it isn´t specific to arkadaþ :S

you also say "kardeþ olalým", "sevgili olalým", etc.

ayarla bakalým ama þu an biri var, onunla sallantýdayýz, ayrýlýrsam olur.. hahah Kizun da goster asýl sen ona

Well done, say hi to him/her from me. Stop worrying it´s not like that to us He leaves us with curiosity, it doesn´t go like this.  Shall I arrange someone for you here.  He saw your photo and he liked it very much. What do you think? You come here and later we bring also your cousin?  What do you say? Have a think.

Arrange it, but at the moment there is someone( in my life), our relationship is not going good now, so it would be if I leave him ..hahah actually show also Kizun (your daughter?) to him

I couldn´t think of how exactly to translate "sallantýdayýz", but it means that a relationship is not going good.

Mmmh, that´s getting rather confusing, don´t you think? You would replace the one infection by the other then?

My apologies for posting multiple questions today - it´s just I´m going down the sentences on this link http://www.birlikteforum.com/forum/paylasim_alani/ingilizce_en_cok_kullanilan_2600_cumle-t4592.0.html (1 page down, 36 to go) and trying to translate from English to Turkish to see if I get the same result. Every now and then there´s something that just makes me wonder.

So I have another questions, more like a request for somebody to check my train of thought here.

"Are we can be friend? Arkadaþ olalým mý?"

Obviously the English translation on the website is gramatically wrong, I´m assuming it should be "Can we be friends" - if so, wouldn´t the Turkish translation be "Arkadaþlar olabilecek miyiz?" - I´m thinking "Arkadaþlar olalým mý" is more like "Let´s be friends, shall we?" - and am I correct in thinking this should be plural (arkadaþlar instead of arkadaþ)?

Thank you.

obviously English sentence is false

Arkadaþ olalým mý? => shall we be friends?

you cannot use plural in turkish here. like you cannot say "I want 10 apples" "10 elmalar istiyorum" but you must say "10 elma istiyorum."
