Quoting AlphaF

To be able to understand this, one has to be familiar with the Turkish saying "Cennet annelerin ayaklari altindadir" which means heaven is under mothers´ feet. This Turkish saying is meant to elevate all mothers and to imply their heavenly status.

Now the sentence to be translated,

I have sinned a great deal, I am scared....Take me under your feet, mother ! I want to go to heaven.

"Heaven is under mothers´s feet" is a hadith. Hadith means the Prophet Muhammad´s sayings/deeds.

Saadi was an important Persian poet and a sufi (mystic) who lived in Persia in 13. century. His well known works are Bostan (The Orchard) and Gulistan (The Rose Garden). Many figurative stories were told by him about Islamic and universal virtues in his works. These two works of him were taught as lessons in the schools of Ottoman Empire for many centuries.

U.S. President Barack Obama quoted Saadi´s Gulistan in a videotaped Nowruz (New Year´s) greeting to the Iranian people in March 2009: "There are those who insist that we be defined by our differences. But let us remember the words that were written by the poet Saadi, so many years ago: ´The children of Adam are limbs to each other, having been created of one essence.(1)

Here are some verses of him translated by me:

How can he know; he doesn´t ask?
He would know if he asked.
How can he ask; he doesn´t know?
He would ask if he knew.

I don´t say you not to sail to the sea,
"If you will sail, bear even the flood" I say.

The origin of men is one (same),
It is the mutual foundation layed in creation.
It is enough for one of us to feel pain,
That pain is all of us.

If you look at without love even Joseph(2) is ugly.
If you look at Devil with love you think he is an angel.

Heart is more valuable than Kaaba; if Kaaba is a home built by Abraham, heart is a place God looks at.

Even ten dervishes fit into one carpet, but two king don´t fit into one palace.

Don´t forget the bee which has honey in his mouth has a sting on its tail.

(2) A prophet who was famous with his good looking.

Quoting tomac

My attempt as learner (not sure about it, especially third sentence) :

When I loved you I was bisexual. So much man to not leave you to someone else. So much woman to intentionally wait for you knowing you are with someone else (or maybe to live with someone else?).

CEHENNET´TE GUL KOKUSU ALARAK YANMAK ISTERIM

There is a wordplay here. There is not such a word as cehennet. İt is an inauthentic word made of cehennem(hell) and cennet(heaven) words. So cehennet is an imaginary place which has characteristics of hell and heaven. You cant find a rose to smell in hell and you cant burn in heaven. But it seems you can do both in this "cehennet".

Düşlerde sevdim seni söyleyemedim

I loved you in my dreams I couldn`t tell you

Sessiz öptüm nefesini söyleyemedim

I kissed your breath silently I coudn`t tell you

Sana ben şiirler sözler büyüttüm

I nourished words poems for you

Sana ben baharlar yazlar büyüttüm

I nourished summers springs for you

Sana ben hummalı gizler büyüttüm

I nourished fiery secrets for you??

Söyleyemedim

I couldn`t tell

Şarkılar yazdım sana okuyamadım

I couldn`t read songs I wrote for you

Hep yanımdaydın oysa dokunamadım

You were always at my side yet I couldn`t touch you

Sana ben hayaller düşler büyüttüm

I nourished dreams images for you

Sana ben gözümde yaşlar büyüttüm

I nourished tears in my eyes for you

Sana ben hummalı aşklar büyüttüm

I nourished fiery loves for you

Söyleyemedim

I couldn`t tell
