hesabı önce kendine sormalısın

You must ask this to yourself first.

(In the sense of: who is responsible for a situation)

Marions translation is correct for the meaning. "Hesabı" means arıthmatıc or accounting. So more lıterally,

"an accounting to yourself you must make" I think it adds a little power to the sentence.

Hi, Please could someone check this for me? Many thanks.

Good Morning
Gunaydin

happy birthday
doğum gününüz kutlu olsun askim

I hope that you have a great birthday
Umarım güzel bir doğum günü olur

Hope you and your family are well
umarım ki sen ve ailen iyisiniz

Take care of yourself.
kendine iyi bak

It is all fine. I agree with Gezbelle.

About "doğum gününüz kutlu olsun askim " there is a little more content that just Happy Birthday. Literally its more like "Let your birthing day be blessed, my Love" which I think is little more "cool".

simdi aklindan geçmek ve sen text yollamak. seni öpmek her yerini sevismek seninle baby.

many thanks

There are really only 3 personal pronouns here and they are all second person, inferences of "i" are all implied.
Literallistically (my made up English) it goes like this.

Now to pass from YOUR mind (or consciousness) and YOU text to put on the road (to send). to You to kiss everyplace to make love with you baby.

(Lets arrange this as a poem, think Shakespearian!)

"Now to pass from your mind
(Pause)
AND YOU
(Pause)
Text to send (put on the road)-modified 3:09, 28 Feb-
(Pause)
To kiss you everyplace
(pause)
To make love with you baby"

It starts to hold together. But I agree with Ayla that it doesn't seem like good Turkish.

HISTORY OF A NATION?
My research on the history of "burka" has taken me into strange realms...
http://www.kkklan.com/annexone.htm
I think the whole thing may have been started in USA, possibly by the Teapot Clan.

Distant cousins of the Teapot Clan now live in Germany and keep Clan traditions alight !

Hey AlphaF, this is your second Klan thread in as many days, some sort of "KLAN ENVY" going on?

But Hey, OK its USA's fault, all along, Ataturk had to put things right.

My attempt. (I didn't think your roomate is actually dying, the message would make no sense, I translated for your roomates "internet" is not working)

"Evde Internetı ne oldu bilmiyorum. oda arkadaşıya aynı problem oldu.

Problem çözmek, Bız apartman dairesinın yönetiçi konuşacağız.

Biz çok fazla ödeyoruz ama ama Interneti yapiyor değil.

Kahretsin!

My attempt: (3 dictionaries say "patron" is the most common word for "boss", but I've never heard it used in any movies or journalism)

"Bilgisayarden uzağaydım zamanda mesajın gönderdün. Patronım icin akşam yemeğı pişirdim."
