The other major epistemological issue to be addressed by case study is where to draw the boundaries – what to include and what to exclude and, thus, what is the claim to knowledge that is being made – what is it a case of? Too often the boundaries of a case have been assumed to be coterminous with the physical location of the school or the factory or whatever the focus of interest was. But of course schooling involves parents and, perhaps, local employers; manufacturing involves suppliers, customers, etc. Drawing boundaries around a phenomenon under study is not so easy. Also, institutions have histories and memories manifested through the understandings and actions of individuals. Likewise policies impinge on practice, teachers do not just ‘choose’ what to teach and how to teach it. Similarly our understandings of what schools or other institutions are for are generated in particular social and historical circumstances, as are our understandings of the nature of professionalism and the proper role for nurses, doctors, teachers, etc. So case studies need to pay attention to the social and historical context of action, as well as the action itself (Ragin and Becker, 1992). Thus drawing the boundaries of a case is not straightforward and involves crucial decisions. These are informed in different ways by different disciplinary assumptions and are currently practised differently in different professional contexts.

The Stop sales period will be applied for the period of the stop sale plus at least 7 days before and after this period.

"Stop sale"lerin periyodu stop sale periyotlarından en azından 7 gün önce ve bu periyottan 7 gün sonra uygulanacak.

Bu çeviriye tam olarak istenilen anlamı yükleyemiyorum.{#emotions_dlg.sad}

Not:Stop Sale kavramı otelcilikte satışın kapanmasıdır ve otel acentelere gönderir bu isteği.

We also use one voice for no. It is "cık". But we dont read it. it is actually just a voice which i can not describe well now.

It is like you use air which is already in your mouth and try to say "nt" by drawing air into the mouth. Sorry, my english is not enough to explain it. But i am sure, we Turks use this "no" more than "yoo".

Hi! I would like some help with translating these lyrics to English. I kinda understand some words but the grammar makes it difficult.

mükemmel bir hava
mükemmel bir ses
mükemmel durumda sahibi hatasızdı
hatasız yıprattı duygularını
tek bir şans
bir bisiklet taşıyordu aşkını
nasıl bi´şey?
uykusuz uzağa
gözlerin mahmur
bakıyorum ufkuna

bas pedala bak gökyüzüne
seni bekleyen başka bir adam var

There is a perfect weather and a voice.
The person who is the reason of them was flawless.
(because)She wore flawlessly her emotions out.
A bike was riding itself with her amour, just because of her lot(luck).
What kind of thing is that, what is going on?
I am sleepy but am looking at far away enthusiastically to your horizon.

Push the pedal, look at the heaven,
The guy who is waiting for you is other man.

"Upper Middle Rhine Valley"

Kısacası Upper Middle Rhine Valley´i nasıl çevirmem gerekir ?

I used to think that this dream would never end

I used to think that, I was wrong, I got hurt

Everything I knew to be true turned out to be a lie

The thing you called a world turned out to be just a drop

If the oceans wash away my tears

Would she understand, the one you called my love

When the world stops

Life stops and moments stop

And I am an ant

I loved her when it turned dark,

I fell into dreams, as thoughts turned dark

Ah it was me, your baby

Yes, your flower without equal

Now where shall go go in my loneliness

When fate asks

When my friend asks, when I ask myself

And my soul, I am a cloverleaf

But I died when it wilted

When your heart knowingly sent my leaf,

Ah everything of yours was mine

What about your endless love

Now where shall go go in my loneliness

Ah the worlds were yours !
Neither heavens nor countries

Now loneliness grows without you

Thank you very much But i think there is a litle mistake..

In English  , Can we say : I loved reasonably ? "Sevdim kararýnca" does not mean  I loved her when it turned dark. Kararýnca is from "karar"

Kararýnca = without going to extremes

Ve ben bir karýnca =And I am an ant

Sevdim kararýnca =I loved reasonably??

Düþtüm rüyalardan düþler kara(r)ýnca = I fell into dreams , as thoughts turned dark

This is "cinas" in Turkish literature. We use it in poems. http://www.seslisozluk.com/?word=cinas&ssQBy=0

Sanýrdým yanýldým kýrýldým
Yalanmýþ tüm gerçek bildiðim
Bir damlaymýþ dünyalar dediðin
Denizler götürse gözyaþýmý
Anlarmý sevgilim dediðin

Durunca dünya durunca
Hayat durunca anlar durunca
Ve ben bir karýnca
Sevdim kararýnca
Düþtüm rüyalardan düþler kararýnca
Ah bendim bebeðin
Hani essiz çiçeðin
Þimdi yalnýzlýðýmda nerelere gideyim

Sorunca kader sorunca

So ...in that case if ´haberim yoktu´ means ´I did not know that he was there´ the next sentence I translated as ´I sent him away´ (kovdum) must be wrong - because how could I send him away if I didn´t know he was there?

If my translatýon of kovdum was correct (and you didn´t say it wasn´t) the sentence ´I had no news - I sent him away´ makes much more sense. Deðil mi?

Maybe it helps " I didnt know that i will find him at my home " .We think so  -automatically- when we are reading "miþ"

Thanks for your answer but what does that emoticon mean?  You are so clever?  It´s your language you should be able to decipher it better than me! - and I still think there is a possibility ´annamadım´ could be ´anamadım´ - it makes just as much sense as ´anlamadım.

It was just an emoticon.I am not so clever but if you want to know ,some people say "annamadım" in center of Anatolia.

What is the correct Turkish for ´öle mi diim´ then?  I took it to be ´öyle mi değilim

And I took ´annamadim´ to be from anmak = remember

" Öyle mi diyeyim ? " = öle mi diim

" Anlamadım "  = annamadım

I'm on a long and narrow road, I go day and night. I don`t know my situation, I go day and night ,day and night, day and night..
-Uzun ince bir yoldayım , Gidiyorum gündüz gece.Bilmiyorum ne haldayım(haldeyim) , gidiyorum gündüz gece , gündüz gece , gündüz gece

the instant I was born, I started walking. In a two doored hotel, I go day and night day and night day and night.
-Dünyaya geldiğim anda , yürüdüm aynı zamanda.İki kapılı bir handa , gidiyorum gündüz gece , gündüz gece , gündüz gece

and I think why? It looks as long as my life. the road is as long as a minute but I go day and night day , night day and night, day and night.
-DüşÃ¼nülürse , derince..uzak gözükür , görünce.Yol bir dakka miktarınca , gidiyorum gündüz gece , gündüz gece , gündüz gece

Veysel is amazed by this. He should cry or he should laugh? To reach the target, I go day and night day and night day and night.
-Şaşar Veysel iş bu hale , Gâh ağlaya , Gâh-i güle... Yetişmek için menzile , gidiyorum gündüz gece , gündüz gece, gündüz gece heyyy..
